HP/HP Committee

We are helping the Family Resource Center (FRC) by collecting  "Christmas Stocking Stuffers" for children (approximately 50) and for their mothers (approximately 35).   FRC does not have a break out of the children's ages or genders, but they will ensure that age and gender appropriate items get into the correct stockings.  Members may be able to help stuff the stocking, watch for an update.  

If you would like to participate, bring your contributions to our SIFRI meetings or give to a member of HP/HP.   Christine or DeDe would be glad to pick up the items. The HP/HP Team will deliver the items to FRC by November 22.  

After the collection, HP/HP committee will supplement by purchasing items with member cash donations.

The items should be small to fit in a stocking.  

Ideas for Kids: card games, Slinkys, small stuffed animals,  small toys like matchbox cars, christmas candy, flashlights, christmas ornaments. 

• Items we have so far:  glitter tattoos, chocolates, coloring books, pencils, crayons,  12 Play-Doh, 24 mini multicolored slimes, 6 pack of animal building blocks, 4 squeeze toys, 4  DIY mechanical dinosaurs, 6 red/white balls each with a rubber monster, 1 pocket puzzle, and 15 one of a kind small toys.   14 stuffed animals (too large for stockings) but FRC can put these with the family presents.

Ideas for Moms; candles, bath salts, nail polish, lotions, lip-gloss, chocolate, small jars of jam, tester size perfume, kitchen tools, scarves, mittens, garden gloves and seeds, and christmas ornaments.   

• Items we have so far; 8 Burt's Bees Lipsticks, 10 canvas bags, 26 hand creams, 29 lip balms, 30 eye masks, 6 shower steamers, 5 patterned socks, 1 soap bar, 1 journal/sketchbook, 1 purse holder w/ market bag
