Discussed wine servings and even at 100 people, 3 cases are not enough, need 4.
2. Review Status of Sponsorships
* We reviewed the sponsorship spreadsheet and identified a need to find additional sponsors to offset the cost of the event.
* Have $5750 pledged. Need to $8750 to almost break even on event costs.
3. Review of financials compared to 2023.
Decided sell 120 tickets at $125 pp including 2 drinks. Wine is no cost per glass for us but the beer is $5.95 per serving for us. Sue will ask Ashley, from Roche, about the history % of beer drinkers to determine possible cost.
Sue will ask Ashley for an updated cost sheet based on 120 people. Will also ask for the $1000 to be deducted AFTER the 25% service Fee.
Sue’s Roche list:
Inform of 120 guests including two drink tickets
confirm wine is no cost - except for $5. corkage fee per bottle
review that beer is 5.95 per pour
Tell we need four cases of wine at the $5.00 per bottle agreed upon corkage fee
4. Review of Committee Responsibilities and need for revision and action on signups. Use the online Volunteer signup for this?
* Nina and Sue to put specifics on the Committee duties sheet (found on Members Only section on Sifri website, first item) and get it out to FRC.
