2. Karin to ask Alex, a guitarist to play during cocktail hour. Will give dinner tickets
3. Sue to ask Darlene about her suggestion to donate the pretty white lantern arrangements
from the Holiday Party. I will ask her for some pictures.
Discussed Heads and Tails Game during Auction. Sell with tickets either $20 0r $25. Also
opportunity to buy at table by adding bidding number on the signup. Sue will donate $200
Duck Soup certificate as the prize. Need stickers: I’m for Heads I’m for tails for the game
Idea: Little papers in balloons that are purchased for ??? that have prize papers inside or
with a Thank you for supporting us . Tie to chair and all pop at once.
Do different activities each year, change it up, so the event is new and fresh
Decor: Centerpieces : Should patrons bid/buy or we give away?

DECISION:
1. Donations in lieu of ticket buying, less than $500, etc will be listed as a group (see ideas
for title) in alpha order. Inform members who donate instead of buying a ticket will be alpha
listed as Patrons, Valued Supporters or Member Sponsorship - still to be decided. \
2. Ticket prices $125. Tables $1500
3. Place some silent auction item outside 6 -8 teasers. Closes when we go inside. ( How will
they know their paddle number to bid as they have not checked in yet… We could remind them
when they ticket verification arrived via email. ??4. Theme; Spring Sparkle

4B. Things to add to event:
• Photo Op area Sparkly balloons in arch or column Ask attendees to post on FB
• Bunch less than $500 donations on a Valued Supporters section listing in alpha order
• Obtain single bottle of good wine for auction
• Have recipients of Awards, CTTP and scholarships a video themselves on their phones of the
impact our support had on their lives. 30 - 60 seconds to be collated and shown during
appropriate auctions. Snow, Eltinge and Felso are former High School Scholarship
recipients. Eileen to furnish a name we can contact regarding a willing recipient of CTTP.
Perhaps Family Resource Center would discuss and video the difference our contributions
meant, or Rotary?

6. Save the Date postcards: Mail out date by 2/1. Suzy will put stamps and labels on and
get them in the mail. Design needed some tweaking and Marcy and Barbara are working on it.
Print many more than needed. Take to: Peace Health, Dentists, Lime Kiln, Duck Soup,
Anywhere people sit and wait we need a pile of post cards. Give to members to distribute,
especially to doctors, other professionals or business owners. ie: Sue will personally give to
Vern Howard and Rich Komen. Idea of having members take 5 and mail them out to people they
know after checking the spreadsheet of who will have already received one. Will members go
online and check the list? Or, they can just hand them out to folks.7. Ticket Sales Start Date 3/15

8. Third FYI (Follow Your Investment Newsletter) to Donors
Delayed until late February or early March in time to announce May 18?? or only
accomplishments. Add the FRC December project.
9. Roche Visitation January - Marcy, Karin and Barbara and ? will attend on Saturday,
January 25 at noon. Check in at the main desk and ask for Laura. Perhaps lunch afterwards.
10. We need a secretary. Highly coveted position, enormous rewards and renumeration
Looks like Sue still has this job. :(


Please add the a check for $250 from Windermere and a check for $500 from Roche Harbor Resort was received by Lynn, Club Treasurer, per email dated Jan 30. Nina to update Sponsor master spreadsheet.
WHO can provide a copy of the $2500 check from Rock Island. Lynn has NOT confirmed its receipt.
