A global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
In 1995 founding member Pat Hansen brought together a group of San Juan Island women with a vision for a service organization focused on the needs of women. They formed a Soroptimist club in Friday Harbor, chartered May 11, 1996 with 44 members. We had a busy first year and haven’t stopped! Many charter members are still active today! Meet our current Board Members who lead our mission and club today.
We encourage members to join Club meetings in-person at Brickworks and/or other venues to be determined at noon on Wednesdays. A Zoom link will be added for members who want that option as we proceed through the year. Guests are welcome-to get an invitation to the next meeting by sending an E-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Check our Upcoming Events to see the meetings dates and times.
